Zain Bahrain has launched ‘Smart Branch’ self-service machines for its customers to issue new lines and other services.

The self-service machine allows customers to purchase new pre-paid, post-paid and home broadband plans direct, replace SIM cards, generate eSIM (QR) codes, and get information on Zain accounts and services.

The device has an interactive screen, and supports Bahrain Smart ID cards with validating fingerprint feature.

The new ‘Smart Branch’ service will be available at all Zain Bahrain branches soon.

Zain has collaborated with Payment International Enterprise (PIE) and CrediMax to launch the self-service machines.

“Zain Bahrain is proud to collaborate with PIE to launch ‘Smart Branch’ which is a one stop self-service machine. The smart branch comes in line with Zain Bahrain overall digital strategy to provide customers with end-to-end innovation services at a one stop to make the experience quicker and more interactive without the need to wait,” said Ammar Al Ketbi, Acting Director, Consumer Marketing and Sales.

“The collaboration between PIE and Zain elevates the standards of Telecom services in Bahrain, by being the first to facilitate new subscription via SIM and e-SIM from the self-service machines and allowing Zain customers to complete all their Telecom services autonomously. We are also very proud of this collaboration with Zain,” said Fawaz Ghazal, CEO of PIE.

“We are pleased to support Zain in their “Smart Branch” initiative which comes in line with CrediMax’s strategy and primary focus in providing excellent products and services that address current and future demands and support initiatives that enable digitalization across the Kingdom,” said Yousif Ali Mirza, Chief Executive of CrediMax.
