Smart Dubai holds Compliance Clinics for Dubai Data Law
Clinics held to help government entities improve their understanding of Dubai's data sharing law
Smart Dubai has announced it has conducted ‘Compliance Clinics’ for key government entities, to improve understanding of the Dubai Data Law.
Dubai’s smart city agency said it has carried out sessions with nine government entities, to enhance their understanding of the Dubai Data law and the compliance framework.
The Dubai Data Law spells out the obligations of government departments for data sharing as part of the Dubai’s smart city plans, including data classification, sharing, handling of other department’s data and upkeep and compliance.
Smart Dubai said so far it has conducted the workshops with Dubai Municipality, Land Department, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Tourism, DEWA, Dubai Customs, Dubai government Human Resources Department, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs and Dubai Economy.
Compliance Clinics will be held with the remaining entities.
